Abstract

It was the origin intention of all A-SMGCS projects funded by the Commission to involve users from the very beginning into the development, implementation and operational validation process. The experience had shown that several airports have different problems, which sometimes were covered by EMMA but which also lead the view of EMMA to new aspects. Therefore the consortium decided to perform site visits following two main objectives: 1. Getting feedback about the work carried out in EMMA to support EMMA in adapting to new objectives. 2. Supporting airports by providing solutions to there specific constraints.
