Abstract

Due to the significant effect of combination of dimensional stresses on the strength behaviors of the FRC material, failure criteria for UDlayer of fiber reinforced composite under 3D stress case are necessary to be implemented. Puck criterion as well as SPC are emphasized because of their advantages compared to others criteria. However, this thesis considers also other criteria and implements them under 2D state and then extends them to 3D case. This thesis starts from the fundamental knowledge of single layer and Classical Laminate Theory and then the concepts of failure criterion are introduced. In order to get to the bottom of the mathematical background of Puck Criterion, the formula were proved step by step into detail. In the last part of the thesis, the structure and some of the section of the program will be explained. Afterwards, a small numerical experiment is carried out and some interesting figures are drawn.
