Abstract

Flow field measurements in a high pressure turbine cascade with two T51 profile blades have been performed in the wind tunnel for linear cascades (EGG) at the DLR in Göttingen. The investigations included wake traverse measurements in the exit flow field. Schlieren pictures were also performed and some oil visualisation photos were taken. With a stagger angle of 23.8 degree, a pitch chord ratio of 0.755 and an inlet flow angle of 40 degree, the exit Mach number was varied from 0.7 to 1.2 with a c=110mm-cascade and a c=60mm-cascade. The MISES 2.4 software was used to obtain a theoretical flow field for every measurement.
