Abstract

The presentation consists of a short introduction to measurement techniques being already used by DLR, Institute for Aerodynamics and Flow technologies, Department Experimental Methods like PIV, BOS, EDT and IPCT. The main part of the presentation focuses on a measurement of the position of Helicopter blade tip vortices by means of the extended stereoscopic BOS method in Braunschweig, autumn 2005.
