Abstract
The DLR-Tau code was used to perform transient numerical simulations of the ignition process of an H2/O2 flame A detailed finite rate combustion model was applied. The influence of turbulence was neglected in the present investigation. Numerical results of the temporal evolution of the combustor pressure and flame size are compared to experiments.
