Kurzfassung
The study "Experimental Dynamic Load Simulation by means of Modal Force Vectors" investigates a new structural dynamic testing technique for simulation of dynamic loads. The simulation is performed by a multi-point excitation scheme. The simulation force histories are calculated by means of modal force vectors. The simulation force histories are calculated by means of modal force vectors. The WP1-Report of this study presents the theoretical background. The WP2-Report describes the related test software, and the WP3-Report explains initial experimental applications of the modal force combination (MFC) performed on beam-type structures. The WP4-Report presents the application of the MFC technique on a complex three-dimensional test structure. Various tools supporting the MFC technique are developed. Three MFC versions are investigated,and the test results of the MFC simulation are compared with driven base tests. In conclusion, topics for further investigation are pointed out.
