Abstract

The surface hot fil technique was successfully applied to the investigation of attachment line transition on the A 320 fin in the Turbulent Reference Flight Test (TFT). The principal functioning of the Gaster bump design was demonstrated for flight altitudes from 16000 ft to 39000 ft and Mach numbers up to Ma &#61 0.78.
