Abstract

The data reduction method based on the conservation laws for mass, momentum and energy has been widely adopted for the reduction of wake flow measurements downstream of cascades. The present paper shows the extension of this method to flow fields with the injection of one or more foreign gases. This occasion has been taken to work out a thoroughly revised presentation of the complete procedure regarding also variable temperatures. The significance of the different solutions has been analysed.
