Abstract

Concerning brgidging method applications in hypersonic flow, the 1991 continuation of technical assistance to CNES on HERMES comprises several tasks: Besides detail studies on HERMES mainly influence of wall temperature, of Reynolds number, and of flapdeflection, bridging computations for the CARIANE capsule and a delta wing were performed and compared to wind tunnel data and partially to Monte Carlo results.
