Abstract

This report was prepared under contract no. 9628/91/F/BM for CNES Technical Assistance, covering activities of the 1991 period. For a first assessment of the HERMES, 1.0 leading edge mounted RCS configuration direct impingement calculations, flow visualization tests and exploratory Pitot pressure measurements are presented. Based on very little available information the report also discusses the interference related DSMC calculations of the aerospace industry.
