Abstract

The presentation describes the current status of the development of a prototype of a noncooperastive modular structured primary radar network (NRN) for guidance and control of surface traffic on airports. One module typically consists of four radar stations. Each radar station is equipped with fixed non-rotating antennas covering a comon area of surveillance utilizing sharp bounded antenna sector characteristics. Single methods for determining the rolling status are presented. A demonstration of two running computer simulations of localizing airport traffic and generation of microwave images (basis for object classification) finishes the presentation.
