Abstract

A new technique has been developed at DLR for squint angle processing, which totally avoids interpolation and is eminently suitable for real-time processing. The basic idea is to model the two-dimensional point target response and generate a correction function for a particular squint angle. In order to obtain the ideal impulse response, the squinted response is filtered with this correction function.
