Abstract

DLR is actively involved in the development and application of imaging radiometer and radar systems. Airborne instruments are the multifrequency radiometer MERES and the experimental synthetic aperture radar E-SAR. The first Radarlab mission SRL-1 carried the German/Italian X-SAR sensor successfully in orbit.
