Abstract
The concept of a novel Near-Range Primary Radar Network (NRN) for non-cooperative guidanceand control of the airport surface traffic is presented. The requirements to and the features of the main components are described. The measured radar signature of moving targets can be utilized for classification purposes. Simulation results are presented.
