Abstract

This paper proposes a method for removing the azimuth ambiguities of point targets in SAR images. The proposed method for suppressing the azimuth ambiguities of point targets has a substantial significance in enabling the PRF constraints in the SAR system design to be relaxed and also for improving SAR image quality and interpretation.
