Abstract
Presently, DLR's Institute for Radio Frequency Technology is engaged in preparing SAR calibration experiments concerning the SAR spaceborne remote sensing missions X-SAR/SIR-C, ERS-1, JERS-1 and PRIRODA. To carry out these calibration experiments, a large number of high precision corner reflectors and especially designed receivers and ARCs are available. A detailed description of the specific radiometric and polarimetric calibration procedures is given.
