Kurzfassung
Computational vehicle dynamics engineering requires contributions from quite different fields as rigid body mechanics, structural mechanics and elasticity, modelling and simulation and last but not least control system analysis and design. In each of this fields software tools have been developed. However, mostly the different tools were designed as closed systems and therefore not suited to link several of these computer programs to one software package. In this paper the conceptual basis ANDECS R is introduced. This suggestion provides a multidisciplinary design environment as required for concurrent engineering, where the different disciplines need to cooperate.
