Abstract

This report summarizes the activities conducted within the framework of a Concerted Action that was designated an area of coordinated research under a broad multinational programme initiated and financed by the Commission of the European Communities (CEC). At the same time, this report covers the last part of a longstanding programme on "Human Performance in Transport Operations" commencing in 1982 and continuing the follwing years under the leadership of the DLR-Institute of Aerospace Medicine. Continuous funding was provided by the CEC through a series of con- tracts. After 10 years of successful operation, it was the decision of the Institute to terminate this programme.
