Abstract
The final stage of the MUSC organization will consist of three main components: The central user facility with its information area, user operation rooms and the microgravity information system ARIADNE, thematerials science user support of MATLAB and the life science user support of BIOLAB. The latter two perform the discipline-oriented ground and scientific support programs. MATLAB and BIOLAB are embedded in the scientific environment of the DLR research institutes in Cologne, substantialized with their own spectrum of yg-experiments. For the D-2 Mission the Institut for Aerospace Medicine hosts the life science user support and the Institute for Space Simulatioin the material science support.
