Abstract
Before conversion to solar operation to serve as a solar receiver test bed a Stirling Power System V160F natural gas-fired co-generation stirling motor was tested. The total natural gas to electric energy conversion efficiency was measured to be 23 % above full power, 20 % efficiency was achieved down to 1/3 power.
