Abstract

All satellite projects need some kind of ground segment components for receiving its data as well as for processing, archiving, catalogizing and distributing. To get an operational performance at moderate costs should be looked for the optimal ground segment. On the basis of a long-term experience in this field a ground segment was developed at the Remote Sensing Groundstation Neustrelitz, which can be adapted to different special mission requirements. This contribution will give an overview and will also explain some of its interesting details.
