Abstract
C-SiC-samples with SEP (TFB2)- and MAN-T coatings have been tested in the test leg L2K of the LBK at the same test conditions. The chosen test points correspond to the Hermes reentry trajectory. Measured and computed parameters for each test cycle are listed in tables. Higher erosion rates of SEP-samples have been measured compared to the tests in the test leg L3K at the same test conditions. Active oxidation on the rear side of samples at high temperatures is the reason of mass losses.
