Kurzfassung
The most decisive feature of a software-defined vehicle is the significant implementation and further evolution of the vehicle functionality through software. This goes hand in hand with the need for regular software updates, for example to rectify errors or eliminate security vulnerabilities. Forecasts on the frequency of such software updates assume 50 to 200 updates per year for each SDV. Essential precondition for such safe and secure software over the air updates are modular, open-source software components with well-defined software interfaces, reliable and traceable compatibility checking, as well as its low-effort integration into the dev-ops cycle of the software updates. Based on results from the research project UP2DATE, we present approaches and technologies for an end-to-end compatibility checking of updates based on time and resource specifications as well as plans for their further development along the upcoming project UP2DATE4SDV. In a concluding outlook we open perspectives for application and integration possibilities into open source projects like Eclipse SDV (S-CORE, VELOCITAS, UPROTOCOL, etc.) or ELISA/AGL, as well as cooperation perspectives for HAL4SDV, SHIFT2SAV, CODE4EV, and FEDERATE.
