Kurzfassung
A VR learning scenario in water resources management was co-created in 2024-2026 by the German Aerospace Center (DLR) with students, faculty members and virtual reality (VR) experts of the RWTH (Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule) Aachen University, in Germany. The co-creation process began with individual exploratory interviews to identify their perceived challenges and needs as learners. The co-creation process was continued with a two-day design thinking workshop with students, professors and VR experts, focusing on the collaborative development of a VR learning scenario about seawater desalination. The provided documents consist of the interview guide and workshop structure that were developed and used in the research process. This research was carried out as part of the research project “Experimentelle Lernumgebung für Wasserwirtschaft in sozial gemischter Realität” (WaterLab) that belongs to the Thuringian Water Innovation Cluster (ThWIC) and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (grant: 03ZU1214JB).
