Kurzfassung
The Tactile Internet offers opportunities to address the challenges encountered during space exploration: an extreme environment, microgravity, isolation, and remote communication. We discuss how Tactile Internet technologies – from augmented multisensory feedback and digital social touch to resilience computing – may improve human-robot interaction, astronaut well-being, and overall space mission success.
