Kurzfassung
Managing research data consistently over the lifetime of a space mission is a challenging task. Starting with the first research and design ideas at early project phases, data diversity, mission schedules, and change in personnel are just a few reasons which make it difficult to provide all involved parties with a simple and sustainable way to store, retrieve, analyze and share research data for cross-departmental and cross-institutional collaboration. Within this paper we will give insight into our experiences and lessons learned when implementing research data management at a CubeSat mission, defining the basis for end-toend research data management from technology development to publication and serving as a blueprint for future space missions.
