Abstract
Helicopter flows pose a special set of conditions for flow measurement:
- Unsteady flows
- Relatively small aircraft operating near to the ground
Measurement techniques for helicopters open new opportunities for other fields
NASA and DLR have complimentary groups of experts and facilities leading to an extremely fruitful cooperation
