Kurzfassung
System Architecture Optimization (SAO) enables the exploration of large architecture design spaces by applying numerical optimization algorithms to the generation and evaluation of system architectures. This work presents the integration of SAO with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), by interfacing with SysML v2: the newly-released second version of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML). A SysML v2 language extension library is presented which enables representing all concepts of the Architecture Design Space Graph (ADSG), a graph-based method for modeling architecture design spaces. Then, the implementation of this language extension and link to SysML v2 is presented for ADORE, a tool for editing the ADSG. Finally, the connection is demonstrated by optimizing the architecture of a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) system of which the design space consists of 79 million architectures, and which is optimized for mass and reliability.
