Kurzfassung
Free-Space Optical Communication (FSOC) systems have emerged as a promising technology for high-speed wireless data transmission, offering advantages in terms of bandwidth and security. However, FSOC links are susceptible to atmospheric interference and pointing errors, which can significantly degrade their performance. Accurate Pointing, Acquisition and Tracking (PAT) is a crucial part of FSOC System. This paper presents a scalable approach to enhance the reliability and accuracy of the PAT system by means of multi-camera spot tracking, employing variable fields-of-view (FOV) and spectral bands.
