Kurzfassung
Equatorial plasma bubbles consist of ionospheric density irregularities at different scales, therefore multi-instrument observations are important to fully understand their structures. Many observations have been conducted over the American or Asian sectors; however, there are yet few studies in the European-African sector due to observational gaps. The German Aerospace Center (DLR) has operated a GNSS receiver in Tenerife, Canary Islands, for over a decade to monitor ionospheric scintillation that is caused by small-scale density irregularities. Recently, we have installed an airglow imager to determine large-scale density depletion structures of bubbles. We will present recent results of multi-instrument study of plasma depletion and scintillation over Tenerife.
