Abstract

The advent of remote sensing satellites and SAR interferometry has revolutionized geophysical studies, enabling detailed surface deformation analysis in fields like geology and glaciology. This work explores strain measurements from SAR data, modeling gradient tensors to analyze glacier flow and earthquake slip without phase unwrapping. It also examines large-scale strain accumulation measurements, addressing challenges like atmospheric delays through GNSS integration and error covariance analysis for improved precision.
