Abstract

The talk gives an overview of the technology management framework that the author and his team established at the institute of maintenance, repair and overhaul at German Aerospace Center (DLR), focusing on technology intelligence and innovation sprints. It will address how data-driven methods can support the identification and assessment of emerging technologies and how design thinking sprints can contribute to more innovative research and technology transfer, including real-world examples from an aircraft maintenance context.
