Abstract
Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) aims to complement existing transportation systems by providing fast, safe, and efficient travel options. This contribution introduces a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to systematically identify IAM use cases, stakeholder needs, and development pathways within a system-of-systems (SoS) framework. Emphasizing user-centered design, the approach derives technical requirements from detailed user journeys and supports an agent-based simulation to analyze interactions among IAM components. The results inform IAM stakeholders, planners, and policymakers on the design and integration of IAM systems that are viable, scalable, and socially accepted.
