Abstract

We present the dual-channel upgrade of the OSAS-B instrument toward a heterodyne spectrometer for both terahertz transitions of atomic oxygen. The instrument uses a hot-electron bolometer as a mixer. An electronic solid-state source and a quantum-cascade laser serve as local oscillators for 2.1 and 4.7 THz, respectively.
