Abstract

The DLR WAVEGUIDE campaign with the research aircraft HALO will take place in December 2026 from Kiruna, and will target gravity wave processes in the vicinity of the polar vortex edge. It will include the ALIMA Rayleigh lidar measuring temperature and wind above the aircraft, the GLORIA as well as the BAHAMAS instrument.
