Abstract

The data provided were created for Aware2All, a project from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement number 101076868. All datasets are subject to the following license: © 2024. This work is licensed under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. The data presented is intended for use in further research to address challenges in occupant protection for Highly Autonomous Vehicles (HAVs). Data extracted from DLR's Urban Modular Vehicle - PeopleMover 2+2 Finite Element model for structural and restraint system design and optimisation at 50km/h Full Frontal Rigid wall impact. The data provided has been simplified for public viewing and for Research purposes. The reader can request more information from andrew.harrison@dlr.de, quoting "Aware2All" and the purpose in the request.

Additional Information:Description of Content DLR-UMVPM-Aware2All_Demo1_interior_Measurements.pdf Contains measurment data of the UMV PM interior of the prototype vehicle UMVPM_Occupant_VIVA+_forward_seating_(/sideview)_Annotated Shows an example of the posture of the Occupants in forward seating arrangement with the Restraint System in place viva50F(/M)_Seat1_postureHAV.json Provides the location and joint articulation to achieve the desired posture of the VIVA+ HBM for version 2.0.1 of the VIVA+ FE-HBM. Can be applied to the metadata for marionette method posturing pre-simulation DLR_UMVPM_example_responses_XXkmh_FFRW.cur Where 'XX' signifies the vehicle speed. The '.cur' data provides example acceleration graphs up to 120ms for use in LS-DYNA. The information can be parsed into .csv "UMVPM_... .avi" Various videos highlighting stress distribution (scalar), part energies (scalar), displacement and deformation as the respective title of the file indicates. More specific information can be requested by contacting the responsible person(s).
