Kurzfassung
This work presents an extension of the FSTraceInterface interface, enabling seamless coupling between the TRACE fluid solver and various Computational Structural Mechanics (CSM) solvers. The FSTraceInterface utilizes the FSDM library to facilitate data exchange, mesh management, and coupling logic, supporting aeroelastic simulations in turbomachinery applications. It now allows for the exchange of key parameters, including nodal information such as forces and moments, as well as surface data like temperatures and heat fluxes, between solvers. The approach is demonstrated through a verification test involving a circular cylinder subjected to vortex-induced vibrations.
