Kurzfassung
Tire and Road Wear Particles (TRWP) are one of the major sources of non-exhaust emissions. Their measurement requires standardized and repeatable methods. A key challenge is ensuring repeatability of the results, which is essential for robust system design, reliable comparisons, and standardization. This study focuses on: - Evaluating the effect of tire condition (new vs. post break-in) on particle number & mass concentration - Quantifying the repeatability of the housing-based collection system in both tire conditions - Exploring post-measurement chemical characterization approaches
