Kurzfassung
We present the open electricity market model AMIRIS and its latest enhancements regarding the modelling of different types of flexibility options, such as pumped hydro plants, hydro reservoir plants, and battery storage systems. The improved representation of flexibility option competition on the day-ahead electricity market enables the creation of comprehensive future electricity price scenarios. Due to the agent-based nature of AMIRIS, stakeholders can easily assess the market value of various assets, such as electricity storage units, renewable energy power plants, or electrolyser units. Significant efforts were invested to provide convenient access to AMIRIS. We claim that any interested user can generate their own AMIRIS results in under 10 minutes.
