Abstract
This research aims to provide a structured methodology for optimizing rail logistics operations by conceptualizing a self-sufficient rail freight bogie through a holistic analysis of track infrastructure, compliance with railway norms and standards, mathematical modeling of journey time and deduce the power and energy demands, and the selection of appropriate drivetrain components and then dimensioning them.
