Abstract

"Simulation of Urban MObility" (SUMO) is an open source, highly portable, microscopic and continuous traffic simulation package designed to handle large networks. It allows for intermodal simulation including pedestrians and comes with a large set of tools for scenario creation. Version 1.24.0: This release brings new output formats (parquet and csv) and fixes many bugs. It also prepares a future change in the default departSpeed and departLane of vehicles by providing options to set the respective default. Make use of these options if your simulations rely on the old defaults.
