In the commanding of the TerraSAR-X Instrument  it is essential to establish a configuration control for the required tables which are distributed in the ground system,  as well as in the instrument. This technical note describes the  proceeding of a configuration change, which will be necessary  during the mission to maintain the best instrument performance.  It includes the required steps to activate a new configuration safely  as well as the information flow within the Ground Segmen for the  proper handling of the new configuration.
