Abstract

In the framework of the DLR internal project ELK Emmisionslandkarte, a system for the localisation and analysis of sources of infrasound and ground vibrations has been developed for applications to wind turbines. Two prototypes of the system with combined sensor arrays for infrasound and ground vibrations have been tested in an experimental campaign at the DLR windpark WiValdi in Krummendeich in October 2024. The purpose of the measurements has been to test and demonstrate the systems that have been developed by the groups of the DLR institutes of Propulsion Technology, department of Engine Acoustics in Berlin (DLR-AT-TRA) and the DLR institute of Aeroelasticity, department of Structural Dynamics and System Identification (DLR-AE-SAS) in Göttingen.
