Abstract

This work describes the analysis of a backward facing step experiment within the DLR project ADaMant. Noval 2D Lagrangian Particle Tracking (LPT) data with the Shake-The-Box method are analysed. The role of a secondary bubble on mean flow reattachment is studied. Moreover, the Reynolds stress anisotropy is analysed. The results support a change of the Reynolds stress anisotropy value found in attached boundary layer flow for the separated shear layer.
