Abstract
The ESA Passive REflecTometry and dosimeTrY (PRETTY) CubeSat was successfully launched on 9th October 2023 into the dedicated polar orbit (roughly 550 km orbital height). This satellite is equipped with a GNSS reflectometry (GNSS-R) payload designed for precise altimetry using slant geometries to minimize diffuse scattering effects and thus sharpen the narrow-band 'echo'. The initial data sets acquired during the Commissioning Phase with the scientific payload and their level-2 altimetric (and also scatterometric) products will be presented.
