Abstract

A wind tunnel test was performed with a pressure sensor instrumented model rotor of the Bo105 in the DNW. The leading edge pressure distribution shows clearly the locations and intensity of blade-vortex interactions, depending on the operating conditions. An integration of pressure distribution along chord provides the local aerodynamic loading at three radial locations from 75% R outwards. This allows to analyse the static and dynamic aerodynamic loading distribution, which is the basis of tip vortex generation.
