Kurzfassung
The assessment of complex air transportation systems and their operation in a global context (e.g., airport procedures, fleet strategies, climate impact) necessitates the efficient interaction of a di-verse range of disciplinary experts and their analytical methods. In order to effectively manage the complexity in the design and impact assessment, a collaborative assessment framework is be-ing developed and implemented in the Impact Monitor project. This paper discusses the technical components of the framework: (1) The utilization and extension of the Common Parametric Air-craft Configuration Schema (CPACS), (2) the MDO Workflow Design Accelerator (MDAx), (3) the collaborative execution platform (RCE), (4) a central data repository via NextCloud, and (5) the link to a dashboard for graphical impact assessment. This paper introduces a new strategy to efficiently integrate users into the framework. On the one hand, the technical connection to XML data formats is explained as the basis for reading and writing CPACS data sets. On the other hand, design workflows can be planned in parallel using MDAx to identify existing and missing interfaces between the partners and their tools. Finally, the experiences and lessons learned from the ImpactMonitor project and other research activities will be discussed.
