Abstract
The conference paper introduces a tool, namely ESIS, which is designed for the analysis of remote sensing data with a view to monitoring vegetation diversity, geodiversity, and traits. The monitoring of vegetation, geodiversity, and hazards with remote sensing is based on the quantification of genetic patterns/diversity, trait patterns/diversity, structural patterns/diversity, taxonomic patterns/diversity, and functional patterns/diversity. To achieve this objective, we integrate in-situ (field) data with remote sensing approaches.
