Abstract
This work highlights initial results of the conceptual configurations studied as part of the Guiding Concept 4: The Rescue Helicopter 2030. The focused scenario - LK4S2a - involves the replacement of the standard helicopters with novel eVTOLs for the Medical Rendezvous-System. Two configurations have been proposed, combining quadrotors with pusher propellers. The full presentation highlights the properties of the configuration architecture and the synthesis of the flight model. Furthermore, trim results are presented showcasing the performance differences of both configurations in terms of rotor flow and aeromechanic power.
