Kurzfassung
This research focuses on the design of a smart sensor network comprising multiple sensors that are capable of detecting hydrogen leakages and performing condition monitoring in aircraft. MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems) sensors that are capable of responding to changes in temperature, pressure, humidity, gas resistance, and the changes in hydrogen concentration are used. Two distinct approaches to the design of a distributed sensor network are presented. The sensor network is intended to perform periodic condition monitoring, thereby enabling the detection and localization of a hydrogen leak.
